Abiru Kobushi, of course. I don't recall her saying she has THAT kind of interest in tails, she just seems really interested in them. To a point of obsession? Definitely. But in a fetish sort of way? Her page uses the word, but is it really THAT kind of interest for her?
I was attracted to a video of her through my interest in tails, which is a standard interest, though not an obsession like hers. (For instance, I'll brush cats' tails gently, but I'd never pull them like she does) While I won't judge any tail fetishists I run into in real life, I also appreciate any tail lovers (like, with a standard clean interest in them) I can find. (Even though this character is fictional)
Hello everyone! How are you? Fine, thank you.
I've been busy offline for the past couple of weeks, mostly school work. So progress on this wiki is slow, really slow. The feeling that very few people are aware of the existence of this wiki has left me in despair; I can only do so much at a time, and many hands make light work. But hopefully, getting this project running will give Zetsubou sensei another reason to despair.
Apparently, Media Blasters has recently lincensed the first season of the anime, and the DVD will come out soon (probably in May). I'm guessing that it'll be dubbed, and if that is the case I wonder who's going to be on the cast. (I'm especially curious as to who will voice Nozomu) Hopefully, it will be subbed as well; it's …
There is this one clip I found on Youtube where Zetsubou proclaims to all his students he has gone missing. (I don't remember which episode this is from.) He even claims it feels good and that everyone should try it at least once.
I have recently tried that; it was fun. (Don't worry though, I wasn't missing for more than 48 hours) It gives you some clarity of mind and spirit, which given the hectic pace society runs on nowadays is a huge blessing. Trust me, it's worth it.
Anyway, I have started up the summary of the manga chapters, currently under the "Manga" page. Yeah, the title of the page is just "manga", you can't get any more bland than that. Hopefully, someone can come up with a better page title; I absolutely suck at coming up with t…
Just made a page for "Hito toshite jiku ga bureteiru" (the first OP of the first season of the anime, just a fyi for curious newcomers). No translation yet, just a romanized version of the lyrics. (Is there a page that supplies the actual Japanese? I'm curious to know if there is one.)
I'm starting to feel like slacking off, like Komachi. Ferrying souls over the Sanzu to Higan now seems easier than what I am currently trying to do, which is attempting to jumpstart a wiki.
I have the impression that people reading this may think the wiki is my digital property or something. I just want to say now that this wiki belongs to Wikia & was founded by Calvinxbao. All I want to leave my mark on this wiki and get proper credit for it, though I do per…
I want to make the main page a bit more attractive to visitors, mainly by linking to category pages and including a brief descriptive summary of the series. Unfortunately, the main page is currently locked. Now I want to contact Calvinxbao, currently the only admin, and ask him to unlock that page. Unfortunately, to my surprise, his user talk page is locked too. Now I have to wait for an indefinite period of time.
Speaking of things wanting to be done, I should go back to all the pages I've written up and insert links to other pages; there aren't many of course, but the summaries I've written are more stand-alone, and the only articles that do have pages are those of characters.
A lot to do, but hopefully a lot will be realized.
I am writing this at 3 in the morning, I have an exam coming up in a few hours, I cannot get myself to sleep. A good person would be counting sheep by now. I chose to write a blog entry on this site. I must be crazy.
I haven't been writing any articles as of late, and there are
a few a lot of characters to go; there's
no article on Maria, Harumi, Jun, Ikkyu, or Chie-sensei yet; I
forgot to include Ai and the rest of the Itoshiki family. There are
tons of characters I am leaving out, I know, but if the past few
weeks is any indication, it'll be at least a month before I
consider the wiki somewhat decent, and that's not including all the
other sections that might be wanted at this wiki.
Other than more character pages, some other page…
It just came to me: where does this series take place? I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in Japan. (It'd be cool if it were based on an actual Japanese town) Does anyone have an idea?
Also, just came across this review; see it here. It's sorta old, but it's a nice read; nice enough to persuade people to be interested in the series.
As you can probably tell, this is written on Pi day. Believe it or not, SZS does contain a Pi reference: chapter 28 of the manga (and I think episode 9 of the first anime) starts with a student holding up a blackboard that reads "e^(Pi * i) + 1 = 0", a well known equation (and in my opinion one of the most elegant). But if you look at the background, you can see power series derivations of e^x, sin(x), and cos(x) (and in the corner you can see Euler's identity: e^(i * x) = cos(x) + i * sin(x), from which you can get e^(Pi * i) + 1 = 0). Now I realize most people who haven't taken calculus probably don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm pretty sure (and just in case you're curious I'm a math major) that all of the equations on that page…
March 9, 2010 By now, that phrase is more or less a meme. Recently, I thought about a couple of things:
- Compile a list of all the things (only in official source material) that have left Zetsubou-sensei in despair; who wants to bet how long it will be?
- If the series took place somewhere other than Japan, what would Zetsubou-sensei despair about? (then again, if it didn't take place in Japan, it would not be same series ... but I'm betting he'll always find something to rant about no matter where he is)
Personally, unemployment has left me in despair (though I am still a student).
Also, I have a neat idea for the favicon: the Emperor Penguin.
Also, I have no idea why there are two "character" links in the sidebar; hope i didn't glitch anything.

That's probably the first reaction some people (not that i am specifying any particular group) may have when they see the OP to any of the show's seasons. The anime itself, like the manga it was based on, is fairly light-hearted, if not cynical. But I have to admit, although I really like all the OPs, all that crazy imagery may seem a bit creepy (though that may be the effect the animators are going for).
The reason I felt like ranting about this is that being the only editor is leaving me in despair, not to mention lonely as well. I am somewhat apprehensive about what to include in these pages when there is almost none if any feedback on whether what I wrote is comprehensive enough, which at this point in time I am pretty d…

Got Kafuka's page up; you might see that the page was created by some "unknown" or "anonymous" user; by the time I got around to writing the article, the system already logged me out, which I did not notice until after I saved the page. While it's perfectly fine to make an anonymous contribution, if you want to make a name for yourself, make sure you log in and stay logged in.
It's kinda rare to see something like a wiki grow in real time, and it's always interesting to see how it all turns out.
At this point, I plan to write up articles for the main characters; as you might see from Nozomu's page, it's very rough and basic, so any improvements will be appreciated. After that, I'll probably cover summaries of manga chapters and anime episodes; if anyone wants to write that part up, by all means go ahead and do it. And after that, ... let's think about that later, though one section that I would like to see is one about all the pop cultural references that appear in the series; there's a lot of them, but I think it'll be worth it.
One more thing: images; we still need a logo. Also, for the character pages, image…
